Recently I spoke with a person who heard that her company was downsizing. She said “Times are tough – time for action”. In 12-step programs the mantra is “take action” and the wisdom of sages is to take action instead of just waiting.

Today is all we have. So Take Action.

We can spend time worrying or dreaming and all that will get us is worry and dreams. Both send us into fits of fear. Fear of failure or fear of success which turns into procrastination. As they say “Don’t go there”

Today - right now - take action.

Have courage remember courage is only fear plus action.

Ask yourself.

1- What action can I do right now that would make a difference and change the day?
2- Who do I need to call to resolve an issue, make amends, or reach out to?
3- What action can I take today to improve my job performance?
4- What action can I take today to improve me?

Once the action has been decided on Do It.
