Pegine's Thought of the Month:
"Keep on focusing on what you do well and you will keep on reaping benefits beyond your wildest imagination. Of course the opposite is also true- if you focus on the negative you will reap negative consequences."

Quotes of the Month:
You can turn negative consequences into positive rewards - simply by changing your habits now! Mark Victor Hansen- Jack Canfield- Les Hewitt authors of "The Power of Focus"
*******
Try-its:
1. Listen to your language. What do you say and how do you say it?
Become aware how you communicate. Do you find yourself talking about others negatively? Do you point out the imperfections? Do you deceive yourself about your negativity by saying you are being "helpful"?
2. Think of new ways to speak, practice different language -
positive language. Remember "if you don't have something nice to say.don't say it." That also goes for self talk.
3. Seek to applaud people. The clerk that was helpful to you -
point it out to her. If your boss ran a particularly good meeting let her know - and point out what she well. Your boss with then focus on the positive aspects of their presentation and continue to use them (also known as positive reinforcement).
4. Write one note each day to someone different with a positive
thought. The benefits you will receive are a) you will make a difference in someone's day and make yourself feel good b) you keep your connections strong - creating a powerful network.

From the "Power of Focus" by Mark Victor Hansen- Jack Canfield- Les Hewitt
1. Clearly identify your bad or unproductive habits.
2. Define your new successful habit (usually the opposite of the
unproductive habit).
3. Create a three-part action plan to overcome the habit.
"Remember, nothing will change until you do."
